ReadSpeaker webReader Developer
ReadSpeaker webReader allows the text content on a website to be read aloud. By speech-enabling text, you can better understand information, and listen to it anywhere and at any time. This makes the content more accessible and the website more pleasant to visit. As a user, you don't have to download anything.
ReadSpeaker webReader also allows the user to:
- Select text and click the listen icon that appears to have the selected text read.
- Click on a paragraph of text to have it read out automatically.
- View a clutter-free version of the web page with text in your preferred font, size and color as it is read aloud and highlighted.
- Download an audio version of your content for offline listening.
- Translate a selected text to a number of languages and have the text read in the target language.
- Personalize reading speed, highlighting colors, and more.
- Select a word and find its definition in the dictionary.
- Choose the reading language.
webReader allows you to customize the service and de-activate chosen features with the use of a JavaScript API. Configuration options can be found in your customer portal. If you do not have access to the customer portal, please contact ReadSpeaker Support for more information.
